Day 1 - ARRIVAL                                                                                                                              Meet on arrival at the airport. Transfer to Kigali.
Overnight in Kigali

Day 2 - KIGALI - KIBUYE
Morning city tour, including a visit to the market and the Moslem quarter.  After lunch, journey through the beautiful countryside of the ‘Land of a Thousand Hills’ and discover the gleaming waters of Lake Kivu.
Overnight in Kibuye

Day 3 - LAKE KIVU
Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the lakeshore or take an early morning swim. Leisurely drive with plenty of time for sightseeing. We will visit the tea plantation and stop to browse around in the local village market places on our way to Gisenyi. Lunch at a beach restaurant. Arrive at Kinigi.

Day 4 - MOUNTAIN GORILLAS
Tracking the gorillas through the unique vegetation can take several hours of challenging walking in the wet and muddy conditions. Once you are with the gorillas, the trek will have been well worth it.

Day 5 - MOUNTAIN GORILLAS
Second day of gorilla tracking. Time permitting, visit of the small town of Ruhengeri, built on an old lava field.

Day 6 - DEPARTURE
Enjoy the view on the Bulera and Ruhondo lakes. Travel back to Kigali. Transfer to the airport
